Physical Description		Shiloh is tall and well-muscled, with washboard abs and a low percentage of body fat. His left eye is missing and there is scarring in the socket. There is a lattice-work of old scars on his back. His eye color is light gray, that darkens somewhat when he is angry; and brown hair naturally streaked with burnished gold highlights. He is slow to anger, thoughtful rather than abrupt, and that is reflected in his smile and general demeanor.

General Overview
Shiloh is strong-willed with a sharp mind and a strong dislike for controlling individuals. Its almost impossible for him to give in under pressure. He's friendly and outgoing and while he'll make jokes and enjoy himself, you'll realize later that he hasn't really let you past his outer defenses. He doesn't trust easily but when he loves, its forever.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: - Intelligent, analytical, tends to think outside of the box - Sees people as individuals and believes in making his own judgments - Special Ops training including martial arts, survival, explosives, etc. - Good at reading body language, good judge of character for the most part - Very strong willed -- even under torture he didn't break, though he came close. He says that anyone can be broken if enough time is spent. He was just lucky that they escaped before that time was reached. - Eidetic, fully integrated, memory. - telepathy, manifests itself mostly in the dream state Weaknesses: - Claustrophobia, once very severe, has become somewhat manageable over time. He has never used drugs but has learned a measure of control over his reactions. - Strong dislike for examinations and a learned mistrust for medical professionals based on the extensive treatment he received after his escape. He has learned to tolerate medical treatment but tends to be short-tempered. - Suffers from nightmares which have never really left him, though now there are periods when he is nightmare-free. - Still has periods of insomnia though less frequently. - Was never very good at science. - Strong dislike for individuals who try to push him and those who use telepathic gifts to 'mind snoop' as he calls it.
Ambitions
Shiloh, being born in space, wants to spend his life exploring the universe as Captain of his own ship. In that, he's living his dream. He couldn't imagine a better life than the one he has though he would like to have his life partner, Siobhan Cleary, back on the same ship with him. That would make everything perfect.
Hobbies & Interests
Hobbies: Basketball, swimming, scuba diving, surfing, reading, holo novels when he has the time, martial arts, spending time with friends. Hates opera and ballet but enjoys the theater and old movies. Being in a permanent relationship has taught him the pleasure to be found in a quiet evening at home.

Born on star date 26556.2. Shiloh grew up on a freighter, owned by his parents, which was part of a fleet of freighters (owned by Coverian families) and operated out of an old, abandoned space station. For the most part, his childhood was a happy one though everyone understood that he wasn't going to spend his life hauling freight. He enlisted in Star Fleet when he reached the age of 18, having been home-schooled till that point, and married his childhood sweetheart, Islynde Ryden, while on leave during his second year.

Islynde was never suited to life in Star Fleet. Bored and lonely, especially with his long missions, their relationship was already in trouble by the time of his capture. After his escape, Shiloh left the medical treatment and returned to Islynde. His discovery of her infidelity, coupled with her nearly phobic dislike of his 'disfigurement', ended the relationship. Islynde filed for divorce as soon as she could.

Shiloh returned to the medical facility, worked hard, and was eventually cleared to return to active duty.

During his first assignment, as Chief of Operations on board the USS Challenger, he met Dr. Siobhan Cleary, the ship's Chief Medical Officer. While on a mission, in which Shiloh tracked part of the terrorist cell that had once held him prisoner, he came to know Siobhan Cleary as more than an officer. The two fell in love and have been in a committed relationship ever since.
